Vaccination
We cannot stress enough the importance of vaccination, it can prevent a great deal of unnecessary suffering.
We vaccinate puppies usually at 8 to 10 weeks of age, kittens at 9 and 12 weeks of age and rabbits at 12 weeks of age. Every pet receives a health check at the time of vacinnation.
The canine vaccinations we use protect your dog against Distemper, Parvovirus, Hepatitis, two forms of Leptospirosis and one strain of Kennel Cough.
The feline vaccinations we use protect against Feline Infectious Enteritis, Cat Flu (Viral Rhinotracheitis and Calici Virus) and the Feline Leukaemia Virus. The Leukaemia virus can cause a severe, usually fatal illness in cats. The virus spreads quite easily so we strongly reccommend vaccination against it.
Immunity following the first vaccination does not last for life. Regular booster vaccinations are vital.
