Repeat Prescriptions
Some pets need to be on prolonged treatment and if ordered in advance repeat prescriptions can be obtained from the reception. All such "repeats" must be authorised by the veterinary surgeon. By law Prescription Only Medicines are strictly controlled in the interests of public or animal health, it is our policy to review all cases on repeat prescription every 3-6 months, to monitor the progress of the disease and the condition of the patient. At this stage we may adjust your pet's medication or possibly introduce different medication, if this would benefit the patient.
